I can verify that in Android Browser 2.2, you can add bookmarklets containing the previously unallowed characters (see http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1676#c28). So, escaping is no longer necessary. This is great. Thank you!

私も「ちょっと反応が過敏すぎないかな？」と思って機能をオフにしていた、VAIO type Pに内蔵されているポインティングデバイスのプレスセレクト機能なんですが、機能を改善するアップデートソフトウェアが公開されました。

バージョンアップに伴い、gemのベースディレクトリが「/var/lib/gems/1.8/」から「/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/」に変更されていることが原因のよう。さらに、今まで実行ファイルは「/var/lib/gems/1.8/bin/」に置かれていたが、今度からは「/usr/bin/」にそのまま置かれるようになっている。なんかもろもろ大激変ですな。

It looks like it fails somehow to create the file containing the
settings, but I don't know why (it works fine here).

The file is ~/.android/androidtool.cfg

try to create it manually and add one line to it:
sdkman.force.http=true

we'll try to figure out why it fails.

こないだrubygemsをアップデータした

sudo gem update --system

アップデートしてから、このWarningがよく出る

require_gemがgemに変わったらしい

ちょっと気になってがackしてみたら、activerecordとかの中身もrequire_gemからgemに変わってた

railsコマンドで作られるboot.rbもrequire_gemからgemに変わってた

rubygemsが古い環境でgemしても大丈夫なのかなあ、よくわからん。

とりあえずはrubygems.rbの60行目をコメントアウトして、様子見。

ビルドのcleanで解決

プロジェクトフォルダ下に「gen」フォルダ、R.javaファイルが自動的に作成され、作業は完了です（プロジェクトの更新のみですが）。また、「gen」フォルダは作成されるが、R.javaファイルが作成されていない場合、例えば、×アイコンが消えず、「R cannot be resolved」エラーが表示されている場合、「Project」メニュー、「Clean」を実行し、（自動）ビルドすると、R.javaファイルを再作成できます。「The type R is already defined」エラーの場合も、R.javaファイルを手動で削除すればOKです。

I've had the same problem as well. I think the issue is that the project creation does not initiate a build when it finishes, so you need to make a change, and save for it to generate the gen folder. For me creating a new java class seemed to do the trick, but I'd imagine just making a change to a file and saving should work too.

Regarding my comment above, I tried Benjamin's suggestion to install eclipse-plugin-cvs, which led me to learn that I also needed to install these packages via apt-get too: eclipse-jdt eclipse-pde Then new software installation worked! Thanks for the suggestion.
